Principal Mobile Workspace
The principal workspace gives academic leaders a focused view of the school day from the campusJr mobile app. It is designed for follow-up and oversight across active class sections; teachers continue to record classroom attendance and teaching work.
Sign in and choose the workspace
- Sign in with the school account that has a Principal role.
- If the account has more than one available school workspace, choose the correct school and role.
- The app opens the Principal dashboard. Use the bottom tabs for Dashboard, Attendance, Messages, Announce, and Profile.
If Principal is not offered as a workspace, ask a school administrator to confirm that the account has an active Principal membership for that school.
Follow up on today's attendance
The dashboard shows the number of active sections, sections that have submitted attendance, and sections still pending. Open Attendance to:
- review a day at a time, including earlier days;
- see each section's submitted or pending status;
- see the absent-student count once attendance is submitted; and
- open a section to review its detail.
Use pending sections as a follow-up list. Attendance cannot be marked for future dates from this workspace.
Review sections and academics
From the dashboard, open All Sections to search active grades, sections, or class teachers. A section detail leads to the available academic follow-up screens, including assessments and reports.
In Assessments, select a section and exam to review the marks roster. Locked exams remain locked; use the school academic process before changing marks. In Reports, select a section to review the last 30 days of attendance, students below the 75% attendance alert threshold, and the available exam-mark summary.
Calendar, announcements, and messages
The Principal workspace supports the school calendar, announcements, and direct messages. Use these areas to keep staff informed and to review school dates and academic updates. The unread count on Messages helps prioritize follow-up.
Keep announcements clear about the audience, date, and action required. For sensitive student-specific concerns, use the appropriate limited-audience conversation instead of a broad announcement.
Notifications and profile
Allow notifications to receive supported school alerts. Opening an alert takes you to the relevant workspace when available; unread items are still visible in the app if notifications are disabled.
Use Profile to review the current account and school context. If you are in the wrong school, return to workspace selection and choose the correct available context.
